it’s a Nothing Better update! just four pages, but STILL! take what you can get…
Ninja Turtles sketch! with all the TMNT talk online lately, I felt the urge to draw my old friends when I opened up my sketchbook yesterday. I used to draw the Turtles ALL the time. I was BIG into them. even a member of the official fan club. (and no, I am NOT in favor of them potentially being Bay-style aliens. nuh. uh.)
of all the dresses I’ve designed for Megan in Chicagoland, I think this is my favorite. too bad she only wears it for like 3 pages…
cover ideas for the Stylish Vittles 10th Anniversary Collection.
I Met a Girl came out 10 years ago! (eep.) despite the deep flaws of the work, I feel there’s still something worthy about it, especially the artwork from the later chapters. so I’m putting together an eBook that will collect all three volumes, warts and all. I’ve also toyed with the idea of making a ‘Director’s Cut’ that would trim away as much of the flawed stuff as I could.
the amazing Cori Doerrfeld’s take on the classic kid’s song/story Little Bunny Foo Foo is out today!! go buy it, order it, review it, etc., etc…
The Saga of Rob Harvard is now available as a downloadable PDF eBook. DOWNLOAD and read it!
a little NOTHING BETTER doodle because I had the urge to draw these kids again (since it’s been a while…)
Chapter 3 of RAISED ON RITALIN is up! Go check it out. I be talkin’ about some neurotransmitters and such.
long overdue Nothing Better Chapter 15 update! in case you didn’t know, my wife and I had our second child, a little boy named Leo, in September. so even though these pages were all inked at the beginning of September, we’ve been getting used to the challenge of two kids in the house.
also - if you hadn’t heard yet, I also started working on another project called Raised on Ritalin, about my experiences growing up with ADD and being treated with Ritalin and other meds. check it out HERE.
Raised on Ritalin Chapter 2 is now up!! check it out and let me know what you think.
before MCAD, I worked at this place called GrafX doing pre-press, production, scanning, and the occasional illustration work. Rainbow Play Systems was one of our biggest clients and they wanted BW renderings of their playsets for newspaper ads which they thought would read better than a greyscale photo. enter me!
